Help !! Winamp 5 Final - videos play upside down !!

Strange problem -

On my daughters computer which consists of a BX chipset ASUS P3B-F with an ASUS 3800 TNT 2 display card Winamp 5 final plays the AVI files upside down - in other software like Media Player and PowerDVD they play fine.

Any one have any solution to this problem ? I tried fiddling with the settings in Winamp as well Display Properties - no luck. I tried reducing of the Hardware Accel setting in the Display properties.

Did you try turning your monitor upside down ? It might help.

Sorry...couldn't resist.

I don't know what the problem could be, but the developers often answer questions on the winamp boards....you might try posting your problem over there too.

Make sure the main window (not EQ, Playlist, etc.) is the active window and press Ctrl+A. Or right click WinAmp, click Options, then Always on Top. Not sure if this would apply when watching videos though.

Thanks for the replies - the first thing I suspected was the codec and I reloaded Divx 311 - no difference. Still upside down

I checked on Google and this seems to be a common problem - but no one has an answer.

I got it to work right... I used divx 4.11 and that corrected the videos. I also tried a couple of ver 5.xx and they did not help. I ripped them with divx 3.11 so I thought that should have made it work right - it does with Meda Player and PowerDVD.

Thanks for all the suggestions and the jokes about this problem
