| How to play several videos at the same time? Hi there! I have three different versions of a music video (all in mpg-format) that i'd like to play at the same time. I remember that i did this in an older windows version, using windows media player. A double-click on each file started a seperate player window and i was able to watch the videos side by side. Now, in win xp with media player 9, every double click on a new file simply replaces the video i'm already watching or simply adds the other videos to the playlist. Is there an option i haven't seen? Thanks in advance for any suggestion/help. Greetings Dru

| Re: How to play several videos at the same time? You probably have to turn off video overlay, I think using overlays means the subsystem can only play a single video at the same time (has something to do with how it writes to video memory or similar).

| Re: How to play several videos at the same time? I still use Media Player Classic. It has the option "open new file in its own player". I don't use any other version. ![]() |

| Re: How to play several videos at the same time? This can also be done with The VLC player. From preferences > Advanced, uncheck "One instance when started from file"
