| Hi Wayne... when I saw your post I decided to upgrade. I was surprised that I could only get ver 9 and not ver 10. I downloaded and installed the upgrade to ver 9. I was very impressed with the new features. I thought the cost was a little high for ver 10. This morning I went into MusicMatch and it wanted to install an upgrade. I said yes and started to watch the data flow in and said to myself this is one upgrade. I now have ver 10 and it looks great. I also noticed that the price has come way down. If you still have any questions feel free to ask. |

| Thanks springer, What is your opinion, is it just as easy to use as Windows Media Player 10? One thing I like about MP10 is the speed and quility of ripping off the CD and converting them to MP3 for storing on my computer. -wayne

I am very impressed with Musicmatch ver 10. Super tagging is very slick and a real time saver. Ripping Cd's is fast and you can rip vinyl records. I have a few Direct disc recordings and can't wait to try it out. I can't really compare it to WMP 10 as I was using it to play and not record or store the music. I can give WMP a try and compare if you like. Le me know... springer | |

| WMP does a good job on tagging my MP3 when ripping from my CDs, a big plus If you have time and only if it doesn't interfer with what your doing regarding comparing the two. thanks springer -wayne

| There is not much of a comparison, but then maybe I'm a little slow when it comes to WMP. If I were you I would download MM 10 and try it out. It will do what you want it to do I'm sure. springer. |

| I am very impressed with 'Super Tagging' Jukebox 10 does give a great deal of control, I gone ahead and also purchased the life-time upgrades, at least I have 30 days though $40usd is a little expensive just for the Life-Time upgrade, but not out of line with many applications charging that much just for one year. The Super-Tagging is what gets me going, its even corrected some of my bad tags -wayne

| Will this blows.... "No CD/DVD drives have been detected. Please ensure that device compatible with Musicmatch Jukebox is attached and try again" Though I am using popular drives; Lite-On DVDRW LDW-811S Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1712 I can't even play a blasted CD much less copy one. Sent a email off to tech-support......... -wayne

| OK, my dumn screw-up.. After (re)-re-checking my logs, I never put Process Guard in learning mode thus PG prevented mmcomponentmgr.exe from executing, since Musicmatch uses its own drivers Process Guard viewed it as a threat, wouldn't allow the driver to run. All is will now -wayne

| Hi Wayne, I don't think you will be disappointed. I noticed that MM 10 wants to access the internet on computer start-up, program stsrt-up and shut down. If you don't plan on using the CD look-up feature, just say no with a firewall program. Very little data appears to be transmitted from MM 10. There is a delay you can adjust so you don't have to wait while MM 10 is trying to access the internet. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. |
