| SB Audigy 2ZS update DRM? Went to see if there are any updates to my SoundBlaster Audigy 2ZS card and this came up. Does anyone know what it means and if it's necessary. For some reason DRM has a bad connotation in my mind. Thanks. | DRM support usually means that the soundcard now has the necessary hardware and software support to playback DRM protected files. It has no effect on media files that are not DRM protected. |

| Unnecessary! DRM is unnecessary for most users. If you owned an Digital Audio Player and patronized one of those services MS, Apple Blah Blah! where you pay a monthly fee for unlimited music but when you stop paying the songs stop playing then you would need DRM. I wanted to be able to get the Wall street Journal on my DAP but it had to be able to support DRM so no way. I don't want to rent MP3s. Also the creative drivers are plenty bloated without going out of your way to help.
