| My wife wants to get all 4 of our daughters webcams to do live videoconferencing w/the grandkids , etc. My researching so far shows me that Netmeeting would work but it needs to log into an ILS server for the parties to connect. MS doesn't run ILS servers anymore, there are some servers run around the world that do it but I'm a bit worried about security for one and whether Netmeeting is too complicated for the 2 girls whom (along with their husbands) are not too computer savvy. I've seen PalTalk mentioned but it seems to be loaded with spy/ad ware and has problems (plus you have to pay for the good version of it). Do I need an ILS server to connect or is there a way I can set my pc up as one to use Netmeeting ? We all run XP pro and have broadband net connections. A newbie on this subject, any info welcome. Thanks, Sam (sorry if this isn't in the right group. figured because it is about webcams I'd start here) :confuse2:
