Ok I just ordered one.. the Titanium PCI-E
Im a bit cruisng for reviews and stuff.. card doesn't look 100 % good I guess
Fatality better? Costs more tho..
Any advice or experiences ppl

I've had the card a while and no complaints. Mostly use it for gaming and the sound has always been excellent. I had some issues with all the bloatware and cant recommend any of that, I only use the driver. It comes with the Audio control panel program and found that to be useful.

I also installed Alchemy cos I'm running Vista and found that worked as advertised.

Running XP.. Well I suppose for gaming yea but seems recording isn't working on this
Btw.. saw you on the other thread so ya know I got a Skyburg.. just hoping it will be better than the IDT from that board

I've got the card and it works just fine in Windows 7. Check out this site for X-FI drivers without all the bloat, these are the drivers I'm using on Windows & and XP pro...

Well if you read my whole post I am using those drivers on XP Pro also and just because the link is old those drivers work perfect without the bloat, so you have your self a NICE DAY!

Your right they must have just killed it in the last month or so I haven't had my X-Fi card for over 3 months yet! To bad his drivers work perfect!

No problem sorry for the mixup, its a shame, Creative needs all the help it can get with there drivers! LOL

I noticed it also and music sounds much cleaner than my old onboard sound chip, very happy with the X-Fi...

Yea I had a nice onboard sound (IDT) but it didn't seem all the way.. this seems much clearer
