Anyone knows what is zii-stemcell computing?

Hey, not sure if you guys have seen this but it seems that Creative is introducing something called "zii-steamcell computing". I tried to click onto the website (tripleW[dot]zii[dot]c0m) to find out more*but the whole site only has a button to sign up for updates. Anyone here knows what this whole Zii things is all about?*

p.s. sorry i'm new here, not sure if this is the right place to post this!

Boy I hate not being able to edit posts.

Let's see how many pop culture items we can "leverage". Zii- rip off Wii. Stemcell is big in the news now. Let's use that. And of course, it needs to be green.

I was making fun of this transparent marketing scheme. It is designed to make you do exactly what you are doing.

I was also suspicous of you. A first time poster who immediately tries to link to a new product. We are often hit with attempts by companies to create viral marketing by making posts on forums to try to generate "buzz". The fact that you replied makes that less likely.

trustedreviews hosted some news about the Zii, too. It seems it is a chip - a processor, but noone knows it is for audio, video, both and what is up with this stemcell (not steamcell ) computing. Marketing speak becomes increasingly funny...

Re: Anyone knows what is zii-stemcell computing?

Apparently, Creative say the Zii name has a meaning behind it. Zii actually means ZEN ll or ZEN 2nd Gen according to vr-zone. I guess the current generation of ZEN are using the sigmatel chip in it and now that Creative is making its own cheap, i think it can complete better in terms of pricing. And if you have seen the ziilabs site , it seems that the zii chip is actually pretty impressive! imagine a player that can play HD content and render 3D graphics while enjoy incredible battery life ...
