| I've been hearing some of the same things about the new model...I heard that it will contain a new Infineon HSDPA wireless data chip that will come in handy, given that AT&T already has 7.2Mbps HSDPA working in the labs, and will deploy 20Mbps HSPA release 7 sometime in 2009 one major feature I wish they would add is the ability to record video

Landscape mode for most applications SMS deleting and forwarding Copy, cut, paste (within and across applications) System-wide spotlight Better mail app MMS Better mobile me integration These new features are pretty taxing on the processor, so I assume the next iPhone will have a faster processor and more memory. Apple's recent acquisition of Freescale would play a key role here since Apple has in-house development of ARM processors. My iPhone is getting pretty old, and beat up. I'm in for an upgrade soon!
