| Cant find an anti virus that will run on xp pro 64bit. Im building a new system this week and am going with xp pro 64bit to be able to use more then 4 gigs of ram(installing 8gb). I seem to not be able to find an anti virus that works with the 64bit version. ive always used CA and they say xp pro 64 isnt supported and mcaffee isnt either? any suggestions or maybe norton?? |

I've always used Kaspersky Anti-Virus with great results....I'm running it on 64 bit Vista atm, but I believe it works fine on 64 bit XP as well. | Re: Cant find an anti virus that will run on xp pro 64bit. Try AVG free it works fine on Windows 7 64 bit I'm sure it will work on XP 64 bit, and if it doesn't it didn't cost you a dime!

| Re: Cant find an anti virus that will run on xp pro 64bit. I use Bitdefender Total Internet Security on Vista 64 bit, prior was XP Pro 64 bit...it works well. Oftentimes, you can find Bitdefender on sale for free after rebates...Three computer...two year deal. Check it out at FRYS.com |
