Firefox 3 overview video

I haven't played with FF3 yet I am waiting for final release, but here is a nice video with some of the new features.

Pretty slick IMO.

Re: Firefox 3 overview video

Neat! It's also supposed to be significantly faster than its predecessors. Thanks, SupDawg.

If you watch closely you'll see it appear as an arrow, in place of the bookmark star symbol when something is typed into the address bar. Of course, you can also hit "enter" on the keyboard, or click on an address in the dropdown listings that appear when you type in a keyword, or use the bookmarks.

Re: Firefox 3 overview video

I cant wait. One thing that kinda turns me off is the look of the interface, I think its too IE7 looking. They should include alternate skins for it and if not someone will probably develop an addon to support some.

There are lots of skins and as soon as they're updated for Fx3 you can choose any of them you like.

For Firefox 2, sure. There are only about 15 themes for 3 at this point, and a lot of them are "experimental."

Re: Firefox 3 overview video

Well, after using it for several days I'm really pleased. It works fast and reliably, and it looks good, as well as having the new features.

I, too, am very pleased with FF3. I like the subtle improvements to the interface...all in all just a very nice browser.

Re: Firefox 3 overview video

I am very happy with FF 3. I like the USA flag at the bottom of the toolbar. Very nice I must say.
