IE/Flash Java problem.

I'm experiencing multiple problems on my laptop:

In Internet Explorer I can't run Flash Player or Java. Sites like youtube and kongregate neither show videos nor play flash games. Version checks that I've run for both flash and java come back negative.

On the other hand, the same sites DO work in Firefox; including version checks.

Flash version 9.0.124.0
IE 7.0.5730.13
XP Home Version 2002 SP 2

Re: IE/Flash Java problem.

Flash has to be installed individually in each browser. Using IE, go to Adobe's site where you can find the version for IE.

Go to Sun Microsystem's site and find the page where you can download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment. If I recall correctly, when you install the downloaded file you will be able to specify what browser(s) it should be installed into.

Whichever version of Firefox you are using probably came pre-installed with Flash and Java functionality.

Regards,
