Need a small 'simple' desktop calender with date marking feature (freeware please)

Hi There,

Would be great if any of our members here could point me to any simple freeware date/calender that displays the current month with its dates in a corner on your screen, with the ability to flip to the next or previous months ofcourse but most importantly with the ability to mark/highlight a date a particular color.

The ability to minimize it to a tray icon would be a real plus provided it will remember marked dates when reopened from the tray.

I dont need any of the other bells n whistles. No data entry per date. No alarm feature. Schedule etc not required.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Scratch that. I found an apt one myself, ofcourse, after downloading and trying out several of them over the past 5 days. One of them happened to be just what i was looking for.

Since there was alack of response it would appears as if no one knew of any. SO why not share what you found for the next person?

Hi Traveller > My apologies that i couldnt post the link at that time. It didnt strike me as it was a hectic time at work and i was very preoccupied.

This is the free tool i found. Desktop Calendar - A simple calendar that sits on your desktop

You can download it from the above link. It allows you to superimpose the calender anywhere on your desktop and of preferred size. You can add annotations to each date and flip month pages etc easily. I found it to be easy to use and it does what i needed. Hope it would be useful to you guys too.

Thanks again to everyone here.
