UltraEdit....the best PC editor. Only functionality its missing is VB style macros. No editor, EVER beats it that I've seen.

this is a great thread. Here are my recommendations:

1. Virtual CD - copy all your DVD's, music CD's and copy protected (yes!) game CD's etc. to your HD and forget about your CD-ROM Drive or DVD Drive. Network version available as well. Here is the link: http://www.virtualcd-online.com/
An incredible product.

2. Clone CD. Copies any (copy protected) CD. Here is the link: http://www.elby.ch/
Outstanding product.

3. Annotis Mail for Outlook or Outlook Express. A great highlighter utility for your emails.

Its called ieSpell

Get it from www.iespell.com.

Haven't tried it yet, cause I am at work.
Edit, I have installed it on my work computer, and it is great!!
I have been looking for this forever!!!

http://www.crazybrowser.com

A very well written browser for people that always open a new session when browsing.
Also great for when you close a window and wish you had an undo last close.

Has a lot of mouse configurations for quick navigation.

Does not over-write explorer.

I'm almost a 100% sure that crazybrowser is just a shell around the IE object. In other words: it is still IE!

Could be wrong....

IT may be a shell, but the popup add blocking, full screen view, ability to open multiple windows in 1 application, and it is just too cool!

Only real drawback, doesn't do Java Script right. I have to use IE for that.

yeah... those are cool features.... maybe it isn't using IE after all.. I would expect it to handle Java a little better then.. On the other hand: MS's implementation java leaves something to be desired.

Sounds like I may have to give this a try! It reads in part:

"Internet Explorer Compatibility: Avant Browser is compatible with all Internet Explorer functions, including Java Script, Cookies, Real player, Media Player, Internet Explorer Favorites, Macromedia Flash and ActiveX Controls. "

So, it sounds like it does Javascript better!!! Thanks DOA!

They are both really cool! I just downloaded and installed both of 'em and am using Avant Browser at the moment. Very nice features!

Another GVim fan!!!! Was starting to think I was the only one on this forum that uses it. Love the syntax highlighting.
