Question Any suggestion of parental control keylogger for Mac OS?

My niece is only 8 years old, we really worry about her online safety.
Is there any professional parental control software?
How about the Aobo Mac Keylogger?
Anyone who uses it please give me some advice, thanks!

Is this some new kind of spam? I have noticed several new members with a post count of 1 or 2 asking for advice on some type of software. A reply comes from another new member with a post count of 1 or 2 linking to some software. Seems funny to me.

Yes, it seems pretty clear that is what is going on. However, a little Googling does not (YET) give me enough ammunition to justify taking action. My finger will remain on the trigger, though!

Rick, I like the legally-sensitive responses you've been making to these kinds of posts.

Attention : Admin!

Admin,

I was all set to reply to this message when I noticed below in my reply box
I see a notification

Already Pinged:
http :// www { the keylogger web address}

I don't know if this is some sort of virus to gather ip addresses and later send them spam... I am not amused.

I consider this an abuse of your wonderfull web site.

I would appreciate your attention to this.

Thank You
G Willakers

P.S.
Let me further state that ANY software that isn't marketed in a reputable manner should be avoided at all costs.

Re: Any suggestion of parental control keylogger for Mac OS?

GWillakers,

Thanks for your sharp eye in spotting this, and for the graciousness of your post.

I'm pretty certain that user ip addresses are not the ones that are ping'd to the op's site, and that it would be an abx ip address that is embedded in the ping. See this definition of Trackbacks: What is TrackBack? - Definition from Whatis.com - see also: track back

ABXZone, like many forum and blog sites, is trackback enabled, pingback enabled, and refback enabled. You can Google those terms for further information, but I think you will find that they do not represent a risk of any kind to users.

Nevertheless, I now have sufficient basis for action against the two spammers, and they are history here. I have also deleted the subject-matter tags which they affixed to the thread to help their search engine placement.

Regards,
-- Al

Re: Any suggestion of parental control keylogger for Mac OS?

Nothing for Mac----but I used a "family tracker" service with Sprint on my two sons's Cell phones to track their locations....

Ticked them off a bit but since I was footing the bill---they had nothing to really gripe about-----besides-----I parent----they kids.

Basically the GPS built into the phone is trackrd and you know where your kid is at any given point....

I have good sons----and it only took once when one of my boys told me he was at the mall----when he clearly was at another boy's house that I really didn't want him hanging around with....

I told him on the phone to come home immediately from this kid's house---I knew exactly where he was----and to not lie to me again....

He was dumbfounded----and both boys GOT THE MESSAGE!

Never had any issues after that.

Trust.....but VERIFY!!!

OK----so I am totally stupid and fell for this whole thing.....

didn't read the whole thread....

BTW----AT&T also offers a family tracking capability and there are some iPhone Apps that will do it as well....

I'm outta this thread for good......
