| Re: Mac porn hackers lay booby trap They really should stop saying that Macs are invulnerable, because it's just not true. They don't allow execution of code without the user initiating it as well as a few other things that make it safer. However, if you trick someone in to installing something you can still throw a virus on a mac, like they've done here. The real reason that macs are "safer" is because their market share is so much smaller than PCs. Hackers / spammers are essentially lazy individuals, they write for whatever OS is going to make them the most money / get them the most bang for their buck. As apple's market share grows, I imagine we'll see more and more trojans written for it. |
