| Crunch Time With the evident end of XP sales imminent, I am wondering whether to purchase another copy of XP for future use. My current system has a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, Intel Bad Axe 2, 2 GB RAM, slowish video (I'm not a gamer), etc. My present XP version is OEM, so I can't move it to another system. No way will I ever use Vista. I've read too many horror stories. I probably don't want another system until Nehalem. Questions: Should I stock up on XP, or wait for post-Vista? Which XP Pro version can I move from one computer to another? Any general thoughts? ![]()

| Re: Crunch Time Well you have to take into fact that companies are developing more and more software derived for Vista only. Taking that into fact I am going to make the permanent move soon. I woulde't necessarily stock up on it but if you want to buy a copy it should last you for a little bit.
