| XP Home reinstall Computer locked up while some webpage was being displayed, would not get to Windows on the restart, just endless restarts. Two questions: I tried a repair, but was asked for a password which I could not supply. I am the administrator and have never used a password. How do you get around this? After a full reinstall I added the Quick Launch tool bar, and it located itself above the regular bar, creating a double bar at the bottom of the screen. How to eliminate the unused, empty bar?
