Basic Question - Motherboard

How do I find what 'motherboard' I have?

Also, is there a way to find out what type of RAM I have?

Thank you.

Several memory companies offer a FREE scan using there software.
I use the software from CRUCIAL.COM.... simply go to there site,
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/ click scan my system, download and install there small program and viola check what you want to view, mobo memory or video card... and its all there...
Enjoy...

Depends if your system was a Store Bought- The manual included gives that info..
Belarc gives info such as listed under Main Circuit Board

There's also belarc, a free utility that gives detailed info on your system, including hardware, software, etc and it is Vista-compatible.

CPU-Z might do it too. But, if not, then a comprehensive version of Everest does it all.
