| Basic Question - Motherboard How do I find what 'motherboard' I have? Also, is there a way to find out what type of RAM I have? Thank you. |

| Several memory companies offer a FREE scan using there software. I use the software from CRUCIAL.COM.... simply go to there site, http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/ click scan my system, download and install there small program and viola check what you want to view, mobo memory or video card... and its all there... | There's also belarc, a free utility that gives detailed info on your system, including hardware, software, etc and it is Vista-compatible.

| CPU-Z might do it too. But, if not, then a comprehensive version of Everest does it all.
