I will probably catch a lot of flack, but UAC is not something you should be disabling! Anywhere where UAC stops you from writing to should probably not be written to, and worst case, changing file permissions is really easy. No body would dare run linux as root, why would they run windows as it?

It might be ok on a childs or Grandma's pc.But is of no use on my pc.So I turn it off and don't have any problems.I just make an image backup.Then I don't worry so much.Security has it's place.But oh that Nag Nag Nag !!
