| The membership idea sounds good to me. But, yes, dazzlin is a well-known she. I can't tell you what she does. But, if known, you'd get a buzz.

| :sorry: Dazzlin, I should've known better. Been around too long to know that one should never assume anything, but too late now. Thank to Crabby and Znod for keeping me straight. Anyway, for those who are concern about Vista’s ability to play current WinXP games, you may want to read the following article at http://blogs.theage.com.au/screenpla...es/003911.html.

| Vista Home Basic Just in case it hasn’t being posted before, here is the scoop in deciding whether or not to sip the upgrade to Vista Home Basic and choose Vista Home Premium instead. The difference is about $30.00, depending on where you purchase your PC. Is it worth to pay the extra $30.00? I believe it is, and not just worth, it should be your one and only choice. However, whatever you decide, make sure the PC you are getting is eligible for the upgrade. If in doubt, ask. You can use the links below to find out about Vista upgrade offers from some manufactures. Feel free to add to the list. | Shortcut to lock your PC. For those who created shortcuts under WinXP to do routine tasks, the good news is that you can do the same under Vista. It just takes practice, trying an error or simply asking someone. Here’s a way to create a shortcut to lock your PC. 1. Right-click an empty space of your Desktop. 2. Select New, then Shortcut. 3. In the space below “Type the location of the item:” type or paste the following: rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation 4. Click Next 5. Type a name for your shortcut, e.g. PC Lock (I named mine “Candado”, which is Spanish for padlock) 6. Click Finish.

| Restore Previous version If you accidentally saved over a document or if it gets corrupted, you can “roll back” to your earlier version of the file. Simply right-click the file and select Restore Previous Versions. This brings up a list of previously saved versions of the individual file. Choose a previous version and Windows Vista will restore your file to that version. Don’t ignore this message though: “Warning: The file or folder will replace the current version on your computer, and the replacement cannot be undone.”

| How to create an XPS document XML Paper Specification (XPS), included in Vista, lets you create and view documents from any PC while maintaining its appearance. XML is part of the open/cross-platform document that has been pushed, especially by Linux enthusiastic, but also Google, Yahoo, and many others. Some examples are Zoho Writer, Google’s Docs and Spreadsheets, OpenOffice, etc. You can create a XPS document from almost any application that’s running in your Vista PC. Here’s how: 1. Open a document 2. Select the print option 3. In the printer selection menu, select Microsoft XPS Document Writer and click OK 4. Name the file and click Save Now you can open your document and it will appear in the XPS Viewer, which is embedded in IE7. To learn more about XPS, including how to create a XPS files, go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/is...n/default.aspx

| That's interesting, Felix. Actually, a couple of days ago, I was trying to print something, and it kept choosing that as the default printer. Didn't know what the heck it was, but I put my regular printer back as the default. Now that I know what it is, I'll play around with it. Sounds cool! Can't be worse than pdf. I hate pdf.
