Sorry, but to me it looks like those pictures are of Windows Vista, but made to look like the next operating system.

I still remember the early versions of Windows XP (then called Whistler). The theme was better as it was much less cartoony than the default Luna theme yet not as dull as those from prior versions of Windows. Right now I'm using a Whistler-clone theme on my computer.

Re: Windows 7 screenshots?

They should be spending all their time fixing Vista 64. And, let the industry have time to develop good drivers. You know that Vista was a big surprise to the computer industry. They were not prepaid for the OS change. They really could have had maybe 3 more years to get ready. 7 years in this slow growth field was not enough. Or, was it 8 years.

And, what ever happened to all the Ultimate Extras " Whenever a new Windows Ultimate Extra is ready for distribution by Microsoft, you will see the Ultimate Extra control panel inform you that there are new extras to download. Simply download and install the Extras and begin enjoying these exclusive software and services that give your Windows Vista experience an extra lift!"

I guess I should be internally grateful for SP1. Anyway, what me worry? I am busy trying to make the scroll bar any color but gray.

It also feels good to know that I was a Vista bata tester for Server 2008.
