Great scores, Longview!
How come noone has an individual component score above 5.9?

Is it not possible?

Update.....without overclock and with the latest ATI drivers I am getting:

Processor= 5.5
Memory= 5.9
Graphics=5.9
Gaming= 5.8
Disk= 5.9

I don't know why, but my mem score increased by .3 on its own.
It must be "special" ram.
Seriously, could this be because I got rid of some startup programs and Task Manager is now reporting 30% or less mem usage when idle?

Processor= 5.7
Memory= 5.9
Graphics=5.9
Gaming= 5.9
Disk= 5.9

I wonder what Processor or Processor speed it takes to get a 5.9?
5.9 is the highest mark.

Thanks, am really pleased with the results and the boost I got from just a small overclock. I originally wanted the 2.66ghz version of the Core2Duo but it was almost double the cost of the 2.4ghz (E6600) here in the UK so am even more pleased to have been able to match the speed at half the cost.

As others have said 5.9 is it (Anyone have a processor score of 5.9? Quad-Core's would get there I suspect) and I find it a little strange that the score is supposed to help when purchasing games because you might think your system is capable based on the score when in fact your hardware isn't DX10 compliant and the game needs it. it seems that even with the score system you still need to know about hardware which is what I thought the score was supposed to do away with. Just thinking outloud.

I have yet to see a full 6 in anything. Maybe it doesn't get that high, 6 is supposed to be the highest score.

I just can't believe that anyone could come up with a benchmark scale that has current systems at the top of the scale with no room for improvement.

I would have designed it to max out at 30 or higher.

Probably not, they don't want all the companies that use Vista to look bad.
