Well Intel have just announced price cuts across the Core2 range so what are you waiting for...? Would be great if you could then feed back to us all what its like running a quad processor...

I have the same score as Rickwell. When I first installed Vista I was getting a constant 5.7 but I believe MS might have possibly updated this. My mem score is dragging me down to 5.6 now. and I'm at 800MHz (12-4-4-4)



Also I believe my disk score went up (AHCI now). I will try to post a current benchmark later.

I noticed my score went down after i went from vista video drivers to nvida drivers. its no big deal to me but its weird how it went down using better drivers.

That may have been my case as well. I think it may have been newer drivers. Also since Intel came out with quad-core MS might have pushed the bar higher. Just a thought.

If you turn remap memory to enabled in the bios it will show as 4gigs.
