It improwed by 3-400%.. I love ATI, but it's got nothing on nVidia in the mobile graphics department...

Thanks SRT !

It works like a charm, no heat, due to upgraded new Dell card design, with 2 heat pipes and heatsinks ending on both side ends of the case...

Are you overclocking???

I thought you said you were running that quad at stock to get that 5.9 processor score.....

333 FSB would be 3.0GHZ and a fair overclock on air.....

Over on the Abit Forum----a lot of guys are doing 3.2 ~ 3.3 on air with the Quad without trying very hard.

Like the E6600 Dual Core-----it seems to be a chip that is sinfully easy to overclock.

At stock vista gives it a score of 5.9. I overclocked mine to 3ghz, i could go more but it needs more voltage and then heat goes way up and for what 200mhz more and i wont see the difference.

At 3.0 you can also probably get all the Intel power saving stuff to work (Speed Step)-----anything higher and I haven't had much luck.

On my E6600-----I can only do 3.2-3.3 with stability if I turn off all the power saving stuff in BIOS and set Vista's Power Scheme to "Performance".

Always trade-offs.....heat vs performance vs stability vs longevity vs conservation.......

Going from 1066fsb to 1333fsb i dont notice a difference at all, it was easy to get to 1333fsb but anything after that isnt worth the heat. I have all the power saving stuff turned off in the bios. My chip is slightly undervolted.
