I sold off some of the old 36GB Raptors a while back. (needed more space in a system) I had them in a RAID 0 setup. Performance was increased with one Seagate 500 GB. I have become a Seagate fan lately. I do find it interesting that you find the VelociRaptor real world fast. Are you going on feel or do you have some benchmarks?. I am only asking because I may put one in my sister's computer if it is noticeable vs, lets say a 7200.11.
