I have become a Seagate fan lately. I do find it interesting that you find the VelociRaptor real world fast. Are you going on feel or do you have some benchmarks?.

I am only asking because I may put one in my sister's computer if it is noticeable vs, lets say a 7200.11.

Interesting, what component is the one causing the 5.6? On my rig it's my E8400 (it's not OCed) and it's rated at 5.7

Question Re: Windows Experience Index Score

4.7 on my lappy....

Memory itself 4.7, for some reason, drops everything to 4.7

otherwise much better:
cps 5.2
Aero 5.9
3d 5.7
ddtr 5.5
