Wonderwrench,

I run Vista Ultimate 64 bit SP1 on my Server and have not experienced the error you describe.

Also run Vista 32 bit Home Premium SP2 -- on my internet computer but as of yet have not run the MS antivirus there.

I wonder what makes one PC have the error and not another? MS has no clue as far as I can tell. This has been a problem since early beta. See these threads FMI. I hate event log errors so I went back to Windows Defender and Avast home addition on my Vista box.
