I'd say that with the two expansion packs included you have about 400+ hours of extremely addictive gameplay in your future...

For the record...I think I just made a "realization".....I don't think the "Somebody's watching me...I can tell" has to do with the disturbing dreams as much as it has to do with the assasins that are always on your tail. I'll bet if you made notes....that the assasins show up more often when you try to sleep in places near where the character said that. For example....heard that not long ago....and I tried to sleep out in the wilderness and was attacked by an assasin.

Nah. They were saying that before the Tribunal expansion pack was released.
The Dark Brotherhood boys are a product of that expansion pack.
By the way, I hope your looting their bodies for their weapons and armor.
It's pretty good stuff for early level players and you can always sell it for a decent price.

Heck yeah...that's where I got most of my "good loot" !! Problem is starting to be that nobody has much money....no armorers or traders seem to have a lot of mula to even pay for stuff.

Go to Caldera. Find the scamp merchant. Sell to him.

Read page 309 of the Guide Book about the assasins.

I never installed Tribunal until after I went after Dagoth Ur. So I never had the Dark Brotherhood problem in Morrowind.

This game is sooo cool.....It seems like it took forever to get to level 2 and now I'm already at level 4.

I had this stupid quest form the evil steward lady of the Balmora mage's guild to guide this idiot to Pelagiad and get his notes...she "didn't care if he actually made it there"....so I took him with me into the Dwarfen ruins just outside of Fort Moonmoth and got tired of that because its now too dark to see now (need to get some candles or something)....anyway, this idiot can't seem to have the dexterity to make it back up the walkway to the top, so I just picked all his pockets and got the notes and left him in the ruins.... )

Now I have to go find some artifact that is some guy's skull. Weeeird......but in good way!

Man....I REALLY need to get my weapons skills up....and maybe personality too....every merchant in Balmora hates my guts....

Go back and take him to Pelagiad. You worked for it. Get the reward he has for you. Check the Guide Book so you don't miss anything. I had a problem escort quest like that. Hard work to get him up a hill.

I raised my personality later in the game.

That's where having a working knowledge of the editor comes in. You can "give" the merchants more ready, on-hand cash to reflect the part of the country that they're in.
IMO, Balmora and Vivec merchants should have more than others due to the fact of their location.
Or install the "Area Effect" plug-in, which opens an Arrow merchant's shop in the Foreign Quarter of Vivec. She carries some very powerful bolts and arrows as well as having $8,000 with which to to buy your stuff...

Catch me on IRC KT. And I'll DCC you the secret Merchant Trading page. Wait! No! I'll sell you the secret Trading page.

On it you'll learn about Creeper the skamp in Caldera who has 5000 at any time and how to sell items worth more than 5000 to him as well as how to sell to him for more than what the item is worth.

Also you'll learn about the Drunken Mudcrab who has 10,000 on him and buys like Creeper.

And a few more trading secrets.

Set up your teleportation devices so that when you are overbudened with heavy loot you teleport to the Mudcrab for a sale.

Sounds great....I'll try to get on there tonight. Hope you'll be there.

BTW guys...a few more questions....One of my tasks is to steal some alchemica formulas from this lady in Vivec. According to the "help book" there are three, each in her room (one in a locked chest). I've found the lady, but she's always there? The book just says steal them like you're supposed to.

How in the world can I steal them when she's right there? She always sees me!! Do I just need a super high sneak level or something?

Additionally, there is a smith that wants me to steal a contract from another smith down the hall. My sneak is high enough to pick his pockets now, but he doesn't have the notes on him. The first smith says they are probably in the room under his shop. The only other room is a locked dooor in his shop....how can I unlock this door without him seeing me?

The "Get alchemical formulas" was from the head of hlaalu house in Balmora. The "get contract" was more of a miscallaneous quest from a smith in the Vivec foreiqn quarter. There are two smiths in the Vivec foreign quarter and one wants me to steal a contract from the other one.

I think I "might" know how to do the "get forumlas" one now, but I am still unsure of how to get the guy's contract. I believe it to be in the locked door in his shop, but he's always there, so how can I unlock the door and sneak in? I can't find another door from lower waistworks or anything to get in (at least not that I've seen).

Yes, they can. Up your "resist magicka" and you can wear them anytime, anywhere.
I've packed'em for two tours through the game now.

How can I build up that? Is there a "skill" for that?

I'm busy now trying to get past something called a Flame Atronach....keeps kicking my butt lickety split! I should be able to do better I think....according to the book he's only a level 7 and I'm a level 6....so I should be almost matched. I "almost" got him once...but his "blows" seem to take out a LOT more of my life than my blows on him do.

I think I used some golden saints to imbue clothes with resist magic = 100 for all items. I put the clothes on, then the boots. Then you take the clothes off and put your good stuff back on.

Speed remains, but you don't go blind!!
