Atlanta Lanfest is Back On! July 26th

To make a very long story short the Atlanta Lanfest was cancelled and now is back on for Saturday July 26th. I'll be there doing a liquid nitrogen demo with (XC) Gomeler and some other Atlanta Overclocking buddies in addition to the LAN. ALL proceeds will be evenly divided among 3 charities:

Relay for Life
March of Dimes
Multiple Sclerosis Foundation

Doors open at 10:00am, $10 to game, $5 to spectate. If you are in the area, drop by as the funds go to 3 great causes. Games include:

Counterstrike Source
Call of Duty 4
Warcraft 3
Starcraft
Team Fortress 2
BF2/BF2 SF

What do I need to bring if I want to participate in the games?

Users should bring the following:

1 PC with all patches/service packs updated for Windows XP or Vista.
1 Computer Monitor
Keyboard
Mouse
Power cable for your PC
Headphones, NO speakers allowed.
Please have all games you wish to participate in installed and updated with the latest game patches.

Sounds like it will be fun. My PC isn't exactly in a condition to travel right now though.

This year's event was a great success. Atlanta Lanfest's crew joined forces with the F7 Lans guys and they pretty much tripled the attendance. Other links may follow:

I think they are considering doing 2-3 events per year if they can sustain the growth. The F7 guys really had their act together. They had a nice full rack server and half rack server so the network was awesome.
