I've been playing the beta for 'bout a week now, and I have to say..even with the game in it's current state, which is fairly stable in my case...the multiplayer experience is one of the best I've had in a loooong time. Not to mention the game just looks incredible.

For me, pretty good. I've hearda lot of people are having issues, not really sure what I'm doing differently. I'm averaging about 45fps with everything maxed out, it'll drop down till 25 or so if I get into some heavy action (And this is at 1920x1200). There's some weird stuff with the shadows occasionally, and a few sound bugs...but other than that, it's very promising that the game runs this well for me at this stage, and I highly doubt it's very optimized for multiple cores and//or multiple video cards yet either.

Yea it is on my new rig. lol. Also keep in mind I have everything maxed out on a really high res, on a beta no less...I wouldn't put too much stock in how it's running now. But, that said, it really is an amazing looking game and I'm sure it's going to be demanding.

Maybe the X48 will be out by the time the QX9650 comes out in Nov 12, but I think I read that it won't be out until January. The price difference from DDR3 to DDR2 will make you sick, just look at the price of this 4 gig kit....

Is the x48 the board otherwise known as the "Skulltrail"? I've found it kinda hard to find good info on it..Is that the one with possibly Dual and Quad SLI support, along with 2 cpu sockets?

Don't know. My eyes are on the 1600 FSB support.
