| Re: Crysis Same here trav, but on installing I'm having issues with the copy protection. The installer hangs and the protection sheme keeps running in the background. Haven't found a descent fix yet but browsing other forums and the EA forums has revealed I'm not the only one with this problem. Greetz

I got Warhead installed but not without a hitch. Maybe my workaround will work for you. Installation did hang at the end there of installation with the activation window showing. It wouldn't connect to activate. I clicked retry 10 or 20 times but it didn't do anything. Then I noticed they had a link in the window saying if you have problems connecting to the activation server click here and go to ther website for possible solutions. So I clicked it and FireFox launched and it started to bring in the website. While that was happening, I clicked again on the game's activate button. This time the game connected to the server and it activated! I can only guess that the connection to the website broke through the barrier. ![]() __________________ Asus X48 Rampage Formula / Intel Q9450 2.66 @ 3.2 / 2 x 2GB OCZ Reaper HPC PC2 8500 / VisionTek Radeon HD3870X2 OverClocked Edition / Western Digital Raptor X Hard Drive / Two Western Digital Caviar RE2 WD5001ABYS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drives / Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro 7.1 / Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 Speaker System / Lian Li 343B cube case / PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Crossfire Edition

| Re: Crysis Thx trav, but unfortunately my activation window never comes up. The installer hangs at the 'finish' stage. When I click finish nothing ever happens at all. Still searching for a fix ... Greetz

Did they find a cure? Maybe that cure might work for Val. ![]() __________________ Asus X48 Rampage Formula / Intel Q9450 2.66 @ 3.2 / 2 x 2GB OCZ Reaper HPC PC2 8500 / VisionTek Radeon HD3870X2 OverClocked Edition / Western Digital Raptor X Hard Drive / Two Western Digital Caviar RE2 WD5001ABYS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drives / Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro 7.1 / Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 Speaker System / Lian Li 343B cube case / PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Crossfire Edition

| Re: Crysis I actually got a human on the phone the other day at EA. They were quick to resolve my issue. I had installed Warhead 3 times (testing X58 MOBOs) and on the 4th attempt it locked out my CD key. The number I used is in the back of the manual.

| Re: Crysis Glad to hear you got it resolved Mike. In the case of Mass Effect, bioware community people actually contacted EA, which started the process of resolving the activation. Some people found with mass effect, if you deleted paul.dll, the game would run without having to activate, but you needed the dvd in the drive. |

| Re: Crysis Crysis - WOW, what a game. The environment is soooo immersive. I'm a huge WWII buff so that's usually the type of FPS I would enjoy in the past. Well, it has been a while since I played and Crysis just blew me away. I had very recently played CoD WaW and it was o-k; not great, but okay. I must admit I have very modest hardware (9600GT) vid card, but this game really made me lower my settings. I love eye candy. The eye candy is plentiful in this game, even with things on just "high" and the display set to 1280x768. Especially as the action heats up. I paid $19.99 at EB. Money well spent. Thanks to those of you that recommended this game!!!
