As many times as I played Morrowind I've never played as a Dark Elf.
Heck, I never did as a Nord either.
I'm leaning towards the Dark Elf, though.

To be honest, I haven't got a clue....

In neverwinter I'm playing an elf..

I like magic so it will be at least a somewhat strong magical character in Oblivion I suppose...

You'll want to consider playing as a Breton, then. Natural affinity for Magicka.

According to this rumour at the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion website, nVidia will release a beta 84.25 driver this Wednesday on nZone.
The driver will have Oblivion-specific performance enhancements.

debating whether or not to get this game...I'm not a real big RPG fanatic...but I've always wanted to try one...and this sounds like THE one to get...is this game good for a RPG newbie?...don't want things to get overly complicated for my first stab at RPG...yes or no?

For those with a CompUSA in their neighborhood, Oblivion will be 39.99 and the collectors edition going for 44.99. Should be available tomorrow or on Wed 3/22. I'll be picking mine up there and $5 extra for the CE isn't bad so I'll probably get it, if there are still some left.
