I bought a ferox today.

I lost a ferox today.

I went back to the complex in ign. Teamed up with two guys who were there and got creamed by the BB there. Ferox takes too long to warp out.

HOLY BEJEEBERS!

Yeah, a battlecruiser combines the maneuverability of a battlewagon with the firepower of a cruiser. And the signature is about the same as a BB, so you're pretty easy to hit. But that doesn't mean you gotta get whacked your first outing!

How long did you wait to try to warp? I usually find that on the Ferox, if I hit autopilot at about 20-25% armor, I begin to warp by the time I'm well into structure. It takes a long time to align, so start early -- you can always cancel.

Maybe next time try a nano or inertial stab?

P.S. Welcome to the ABX Ship Quick-Loss Club! I still have you beat for least time in possession before destruction, but you're getting there!

I had about 20% shield left when I tried to warp. Took about 5 hits to take the rest out.

I started at 8900 shield.

The other guy (mindreaper) knew I should warp out. I hit it too late.

at 19:40:07 he told me to warp out. I still had shield.

At 19:40:40 I was dead.

I have a lot to learn about combat.

8900 shield? How'd you get it that high? I can't clear 8K.

Who was the other guy there? I'm surprised mindreaper didn't gank you. Did they invite you or you just dropped in?

I hope there's a lot of space in that graveyard. I don't want to have my frozen corpse floating around space, suffering unspeakable indignities!

We need a new corp logo

Okay, here's a quick try while I was waiting for tonight's fight to start. Let's get some suggestions going.

Just bout a cheap Logitech USB headset. Should be here tomorrow. The Jabra BT headset is great, but the battery life sucks.

BTW, I checked to of my kills at Podbase. It turns out that for both RKaid and Kandram (ROF), their own corpmates participated in the kills. I think those boys need to learn how to better target opponents.
