| Just as a foot note, I have read probably ten reviews so far of Guildwars on a wide variety of gamesites...no site has given it less than 9/10 and most are higher, with a few citing it as groundbreaking and damn near perfect....while these extreme reactions are obvious hyperbole, I will say that AT LEAST 9/10 is not an overstatement and this one belongs in your gaming library unless you are a FPS or RPG purist that dislikes any variance from the usual fare...it is a sort of hybrid and has the added benefit of no monthly subscription (possible add'l cost "add-ons" in the future I suspect, but don't know...just seems like good business to do so IMO) @ Arutha...gimme a holler ingame bro, you know I'll travel anywhere with my trusty fire wand, a few minions and plenty of armored friends!

| Must not buy... oh F it! I'll go get it this afternoon if I have time. I decided it's a good way to keep the young 15yr old count off WoW (we only have 1 subscription so cant play at the same time) He can Guild it up whilst I continue my epic Warcraft journey uninterupted. Then later when I want a break I can start Guild Wars. Joy

| Ok, what's the deal? Is there any actual quest related to the young girl Gwen, pre-Searing? I've given her flowers and a cape, but what's the deal? |

| I've been playing this game since E3's original preview. It's a lot of fun. Reason being is that it caters to many types of audience. It can can be played like a first person shooter type of game where you start with a fully leveled character and go duel against others. It can also be played as an rpg where you level up from one to twenty, collect items, unlock skills and equipment upgrades (which can be later used for customizing pvp characters), create guilds, have guild matches, and so on and so forth. The interesting part though is the end result when you hit level 20 if you take the rpg route. It becomes different once you've reached the harder (lvl 20+ monster) areas. At that point you have the ability to unlock eleet skills, infuse armors (supposedly to make you be able to withstand some of the harder monsters in those areas), acquire good equipment, and change secondary professions (there's an npc somewhere in the later area which allows you to change your secondary profession if you don't like your current). Also the equipment seems to work somewhat differently. I don't remember how it was at the moment (found somewhere on gwonline.net), but the best way to protect yourself is to have good torso armor. It has the highest chance of being attacked, and if you have the right armor, it can protect you from the tougher foes.
