Okay, now what do I do with the Tapestry Shred?

Dunno, may be there's a use for it that I didn't find...I'm post-searing and getting pretty high level and still carry the thing around...I'm gonna toss it before too much longer, although I keep thinking I'm going to need it for something...oh, well....

What's the deal with only being able to have 2 people in a group? Do you need to be higher level to have more?

I don't remember it being as few as two...are you still in pre-searing Ascalon?
I can group with 4 or sometimes 6 so far (depending on location) in post-searing game world (PvE). Or are you referring to PvP contests?

Various locations in Kryta for sure...possibly some in the mountains (I'll check later), I think number of slots available increases with difficulty of quests/missions...

I think Yaks End and Borliss Pass are the first two points that your party goes from 4 to 6. Once again I did not get by the Borliss Pass last night I didn't even make it as far as I did the first time! I did go on my own and make it to Serenity temple so I have some more of the map opened up. One of these days those I'll make it down into Kryta!

ah, ok thanks. i was actually on my way to yak's bend when the game conveniently crashed on me.

Hmmm never had the game crash on me like that Teng029 that seems kind of strange.

I did make it pass Borliss pass and am now at Frost Gate. So I am trying to catch up with you Wingit. For Borliss Pass I had a party of 3 warriors and 2 monks. Talk about slaughtering everything in your path! =)

actually it crashed on me twice yesterday while trying to get to yak's bend. the second time around, i was heading back to the zone gate to the lowlands. i stopped playing after that happened so i've still yet to get to yak's bend.

That is pretty strange did you send an email to them or ask in their support forum to see if others are having that problem. Does it say anything when it crashes? I never had it crash on me like that and am wondering why it does it for you. Are you trying to get to Yaks End on your own, or are you doing the primary quest to get there? I know if you do Nolani Acdemy and finish that primary mission then you will get to Yaks End after you finish that mission. So try doing that instead of trying to march their on your own.

no, it wasn't for a quest. i was just farming and exploring the area. it does give me an error code when it crashes, although i don't remember what it is off the top of my head.

i've been using henchmen exclusively, so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I usually use the henchmen when I am off exploring and haven't had a problem with that game. That stinks it keeps crashing on you though. I guess your other option would be try to skip Yaks end and head to Borliss Pass. You can pick up more henchmen there and the Expert Salvage Kit.
