This is my main (level 31 warrior), and I went herbalism / tailoring at first to make some money off low level herbs, and then switched to enchanting / tailoring. Very very good combo, although enchanting is very expensive. Your going to want some occupations that are very much worthwhile later. Enchanting is pretty good later-on, while tailoring sucks but is great to disenchant with. I spent 90G getting from level 0-225 in enchanting in one day, so it is a very expensive occupation.

As Minaba posted a couple weeks ago, my pally Marcellus is now lvl 60 yay. I was doing mining, and got it to 300. I was also doing enchanting, and it was about 80. I dropped mining and took up tailoring. Great skill if you are doing enchanting. You can make nice green items and then disenchant them for your enchanting supplies. Enchanting doesnt have to be expensive. It isnt for me. My enchanting is now at 253.

My human mage is now lvl 20, and is awesome. Ive put all my talent points into frost, which will be good for pvping and also grouping. I can also hold my own soloing, but grouping is so much more fun.
For those debating on becoming a mage...i was lvl 56 or so with my pally, i was farming at Western Plaguelands. A lvl 60 mage ran past me and proceeded to run around a mob of undead skeletons, lvl 52-55. He ran around them about 3 times, and they simutaneously died. I counted 13 bodies, and he didnt even lay a hand on them. NICE!!!

Level 10 Mage and counting. I was able to complete a quest and got disconneted from the server. Now I can't seem to find it in my quest log and my XP didn;t go up at all. I am wonderinging if I am screwed.

I just had to go back to the original gvier of the quest and start again. Who knows I may not have hit "accept", or something crazy like that.

Sunday the 8th I was playing, hoping to up one more level. I died and when I came back there was no monsters, and when I went to town there were no inhabitents. I was all alone, and still able to run arround the online world. I had to give up on it for the day. Has this happened to others?

I had one of the saddest days in my WOW history on Saturday. We took down onyxia and this axe dropped. I rolled a 99 on it and was jumping up and down, screaming and yelling. We were in a pickup group and everyone was typing in guild chat grats. Then all of a sudden a shaman rolled and rolled a 100. What are the odds on that? Man I was so depressed. Deathbringer is the ultimate tanking weapon and I lost to a freaking shaman. :bigcry:

Onyxia was surprisingly easy to take down. We brought her down on the second try. The first try the tank got feared under the world and was out of line of sight to the healers.

All in all tho it was alot of fun.

Did u quit the game and log back on? That's a new one to me... all alone with no-one to kill!

my eyes out if that happened to me. That farging Shaman should have passed!

Quit the game, loged back on......server said "already a player using that name". Second time this has happened. No big deal, have loged on and played since. Just thought it was kind of odd.

Normal issues..I believe it's lag-related...the server still had you "ID"ed as "online" and had not cleared your character...solves itself after a few minutes...no biggie...
