Hi,

My son and I want to play WoW on the same computer, each one with his own avatar.
Do I need to buy the game twice, or is it possible with a single licence to create more than one avatar (=account?).

Thanks
Baudouin.

That's fine. It even says in the TOS that the account can be shared with a son/daughter. I believe you can create as many charactes as you want (I have 4)

You just cant play them at the same time.

Edit: Typo.

The Blizzard patching system is kind of a joke. It takes ages to download anything even on a fast connection. I was on the Beta Test, and just imagine how long it took to download the whole 2 GB client (It took like a week).

Anyway, there are other places to download the patch:

http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/14952
http://www.3dgamers.com/games/worldo...aft/downloads/

Just make sure the file sizes match the one the Blizzard updater is trying to download.

Yep, it's based on Bittorrent, but is much slower, since it completely saturates you upload speed. I acually got decent speeds from it when I installed Netlimiter to limit my upload speed to 15kB/s.
