Re: Race Driver: Grid demo

Like other racing games I've played, they also change the driving experience depending on the view. If I use an outside view, the car is very front-heavy and every little twitch makes the car get unstable. With the in-car view it's more forgiving, but the view is not very good, especially after aforementioned first turn smashes the windshield.

It is extremely pretty, and on my Penryn 2.5ghz+8800M GTX laptop it runs very nice at 1900x1200 with eye candy on. It also has a Mustang, and as a Mustang owner I have to give bonus points for this, even if the way it handles makes it seem very not-RWD.
Oops, late answer.

The Mustang seems "very not RWD"?? You mean the car actually behaves how?

There are lots of Tracks. In the city, at a circuit, crash car, open wheel, drifting, etc. etc.

I just played started it again, first time with the rig in my sig in XP. Garphics at 1440x900, everything set to high and the game runs above 100 fps. With the G25-wheel it's a great game imho.

Greetings

Dru

Grid is 50% off this weekend on Steam...I think I'm finally going to buy the game...$14.99 is a great deal

GRID™ on Steam

I normally only buy Valve games through Steam as I like having a boxed version...but in this case I think I'll make an exception
