That would be Sirk that helped out...and it is in the works to get it back on the front page.
We are also looking into some type of rewards for our folders - I started a thread about it. Your input is invited.
It's been too long...it would be nice to do something in appreciation.

It's a fairly easy template hack. Took me 5 minutes back in the day.

Basically just do <a href="$threadUrl" title="$threadTitle">$abbreviatedThreadTitle</a> (I'm using fake variable names, naturally). You'll want the full thread title in the title attribute for the link. That's all.

Hi Susie -- The mouseovers stopped working on or about August 4, 2008, at which time the home page mysteriously disappeared and had to be recreated from scratch. They had always worked well prior to that date. See this thread:

Others can speak to the banner issue more knowledgeably than I can.

About the folding banner now missing on the front page,the following link shows where and which banner was used when it was working. It is from an archive.org page:

ABXZone Computer Help Forums

And as ctal had already explained, both the banner and the mouseovers were working just fine prior to the front page crash.

shelly - ive moved the graphic you're hosting, over to my space for now, and will swap it to the one ive asked top be hosted on the abd space, once i get word back.

It would appear to me that the mouse overs contain the first couple words from the first post, not the full thread title.
