I hope he comes back. He was a real trooper. Looks like he stopped about the same time I left on vacation. Congrats on the 120,000 Maxbo.

With the electric bills going up during the summer months, it's only natural that people will cut back on folding. I have my AC set to 76. I have some relatives that have theirs set under 70.....

How many rigs/processors do you have running? I'm still folding 6 WU's (4 QMDS and 2 Gromacs).

The ones in my sig, plus another HT P4 that I just activated this week. It's on a remote machine that I'm accessing for a project. I figured that if it was just goint to sit there all day, it might as well give us some points.

BTW, got my replacement RAM in and may try to crank the main rig this weekend. Running @ 3.8 now without the OCZ complaining. I may be able to get it to 250FSB if I loosen up a lot.

Got a spare gig of Corsair VS laying on my desk. Wish I could get another cheap 3.0 and make a folding-only rig with it, but I'm broke!

Okay, I just checked prices. The cheapest HT-capable chip I can get that's NOT a refurb is $174 for a 2.8E. WHAT IS WITH THAT? I can get a bargain board for $45, and a cheap PSU, too. And I have a wad of unused drives. But what is with the prices on the P4s? The XP-M 2400 is ~$80, but that'll give me only one instance.

How are you supposed to build folding machines at the drop of a hat when this stuff is so expensive? Somebody should talk to the management...

It wasn't.

I'm munching on 2 1140's and 2 1477's. The 1140's are doing 1 hr/frame and the 1477's are doing 30min ea.

EDIT: My other rig is munch'n on 2 745's.
