Sorry to display my stupidity, but I don't know. If you tell me how to find out in EM3, I'll let you know.

Hi Mike, you will want select "(4) Client View" by clicking on the button under the last E of the "Electron Microscope" label to see how much time each frame is taking. I have to go to 2 client view to find out when my proteins will complete since I'm folding 4 consoles at the same time on my system.

BTW, you what teams you folding for these days?

Thanks! The 3.0C in my sig is running stock as a server and clocking about 57 minutes per frame/96 hours per WU. Dunno on my main box cuz it's had shorter WUs lately.

Here's the rundown of my boxen. The server and main rig will go back to OC'd status once I get a chance to do some tweaking. For now, everything's running per spec. Will also put another instance on the 3.4 once I get some misc. NSW problems tamed.

P4/3.4, P4/3.0 x 2 - Team P4P
XP-M/2.067 - Team Athlon
P3-M/1.2 - Beggin for Power

You've got a lot machines folding for abx. Thanks for your continued contribution.

No prob. It's fun and my kids think it's cool. I'd have a couple more boxes on the job if my wife wouldn't yell at me for building more machines.

Looks like my system is more stable now with the memory timings set to 2-2-2-6 as I had about six 600 point gromacs end early this week. Completed a 302 point gromac this morning. Currently folding four 600 point gromacs right now.

My brother's PC is folding a 600 point gromac.

My PIII 850Mhz laptop is folding a 241 point tinker.

Looks like I'm getting some of those 600 pointers now too!

My main rig just finished one and picked up another in its place. Also have one that will finish tomorrow.

My other rigs have been munching on 241 point tinkers.

Glad your rig is stable VSEKH.

Glad your systems are finally folding some 600 point gromacs precast. Let's hope that Stanford never runs out of these 600 point gromacs. It reminds of 107 point double gromacs that my rig was completing about 8 of these a day because they took advantage of the SSE2 instructions. Heck, I hope Stanford brings back the double gromacs.

Right before my 3.0C got its first 600 it worked on a 364 point gromac that folded pretty quick. It showed up with a black looking protein in EMIII.

My Brother's 2.6C has gotten a couple of these 364 point gromacs. Each frame took about 22 minutes per frame. I noticed when it is complete, it sends about 8MB of data to Stanford. This is even bigger than the 600 point gromacs, which only send back about 4MB.

Hopefully my system will get some of these 364 point gromacs one of these days.

Sammy created this thread. Ever since we have been posting here instead the proteins that our machines are folding.

Question What is Folding

Hi all,
I've been a member for a while, but it's been a while since I've posted.
This may be a silly question, but what is this "Folding" everyone keeps mentioning?

Here's an FAQ site regarding Folding@Home:
http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandeg...lding/faq.html

We'd love to have you fold for abxzone. Let us know if you need help in setting up FAH consoles.
