| Hello from johnrr6 Hello to all. My name is John and I am a 55 year old retired Army officer, now school teacher and HS Baseball coach. I'm married to the cutest little southern belle who's a spitfire and keeps me on my toes. She also is an elementary school Principal and works HARD. We have two great sons who are both at James Madison University. College is costing me a FORTUNE----but as long as they bring home good grades and stay out of trouble----I'm OK with that. In the end----I will have spent more for my son's education than my wife and I did paying off our house----go figure. I was a Ranger and a Paratrooper in the service and loved my job----and the excellent folks I worked with over the years. Got my commission through the ROTC at the University of Nebraska back in '76 and am STILL a die hard Nebraska Football Fan!! Go Huskers!!!! I am a self-taught technology guy and people say I have a "curious mind" which leads to exploration and just figuring out how darn stuff WORKS....it also leads to "extra parts" lying around a lot after I have taken something apart....."Now I wonder where this goes??"....is a common saying around my garage. My specialties are building hardware and some overclocking. I try to stay current on the latest and greatest----but it costs me a small ransom continuously buying new hardware. PLEASE DON'T TELL MY WIFE!! I love all sports and my latest foray is Skeet Shooting where I'm starting to become a decent shooter. I'm "John" to my friends.... "Coach" to my baseball team.... "Pops" to my sons.... and "Knucklhead" to my wife.... Darn Glad To Be Here!!!

I've feel that people who have been chatting with you here for a long time have now gotten to know you better, and that's what builds a community.
