Can you get out of the room?

I've gotta apologize for being MIA. I'm in New Delhi working for the last 2 months. The internet is very scarce, and most social networking is blocked. I will be back in home soon.

Till then see if you can get out of the room.

This is tough. Expect at least an hour to figure this out.

And I've attached my walkthrough that you can refer to if you're stuck.

Where did the attachments button go?

Well I had a go and collected several items, unfortunately I was unable to use any of the items.

There was no inventory? How was I supposed to use the items that I had collected? Maybe I was doing something wrong, maybe the puzzle is broken, I dont know. perhaps someone else will have better luck and post a user guide.

You can drag and (I'm assuming) drop items. I haven't yet figured out how to use any of them tho. I've found a key, 2 batteries, a piece of paper and a test tube, of some sort.

No idea where to go next, I feel like I'm gonna ruin my left mouse button trying to figure this out. Click click click!!

I keep geting a script error when I load the web page with the room. I believe this is the reason, I cannot see any items at the bottom of the picture, that is mentioned in the walkthrough. So until I get that fixed up, it would appear that I am out of the picture.

Sorry, I should have been more specific, it is a JAVA script error

Plus every thing has been updated, JAVA, Flash Player and I believe everything in my browser (IE8) is up to date. So, I am unsure what to do next?

it was useful but confused me a bit with the second keypad (getting the second briefcase key) i cant for the life of me work it out. eta: past that bit...

just cant get pass the chess bit now :S so close yet so far
