Friend of a friend needs help

I have a friend that needs some software to monitor her husbands computer without him knowing. I has an email account she didnt know about and she noticed he left is email open and she saw it. She cant remember the account name to try to get into it. I guess he is cheating on her with tons of different women. He has a lot of ads about himself online looking for women. Is there some kind of keylogger or something she can you use?

There is no way you can come out of this without being a "bad guy"....

Besides, putting a keylogger on someone's system without their knowledge is illegal. It'll just add fuel to the fire..

Re: Friend of a friend needs help

You may never know the real truth of the story. I do not mean that, the woman might tell a lie, but she might imagine too much, she might be obssessed to control other people, or it might just be the beginning of a plot.

Helping a friend is a nice deed, but sometimes one needs to overthink, or be cautious. At least, that is from my (bad) experiences.

Re: Friend of a friend needs help

I had a similar situation. Stay out of it you may loose both the husband and wife's friendship if they are your friends to begin with.

There are key loggers but like the man said they can get you in trouble.

Did someone hack your account, SRTDodge05 ? Cos this seems to be an unusual kind of post coming from you.

If its fair dinkum, then I just want to echo the idea that this is a very wrong thing to do and the last thing you want to become involved in is a domestic dispute!

If it helps; just remember that 2 wrongs dont make a right!

Re: Friend of a friend needs help

Maybe you can still try to leave yourself in a good light...tell her there are some things that could be done, but they are illegal on a personal level and delving into this area could create additional problems for all concerned.
It would be quite a different situation if this was a workplace and the employer was trying to keep extra curricular activities in check.
