speaking of tests, we took our 3rd groundschool test yesterday, i got a 90% on it no complaints here, average was 89%

got the main parts of my lesson plan/scenario on airspace done. We are planning a flight from Scottsdale, AZ over to Roswell, NM right through a bunch of Restricted airspace, should make for a good lesson on airspace.

will make a powerpoint to accompany it to cover the other airspace i am not covering with the scenario. (working on that now)

Bad computer days are bad enough, had my share, but when it runs on for awhile, errrr!!! Thinking about a new ASUS P4C800, I know, old hat, and expensive, but... the reputation for stability is legendary, as was the Intel BX chipset. Hope you latch on to something tasty soon.

bad thing is this is the second cpu i have used in the last 5 months
not sure if i should buy something new and sell this one (it works fine at stock speeds) or just keep it for a while.

will continue testing though

MarcusOCZ over at bleedingedge, just informed me that the problem is the new memory controllers on the Venice cpus, they don't like high memory speeds

exactly that is what is pissing me off especially when i am not going that high, 60mhz over stock. some people do well over 100mhz over stock.

i was stable last week, i could do everything, then it started to degrade so now i am starting over again. starting with memtest going at 1:1 with the cpu.

if this isn't going to work, then i may just buy a new cpu that is faster, overclock it a little bit, and call it good, not what i want to do though. I have other things to buy (ring)
