If he did what he was accused of, with children.......
I'll leave it to the imagination, of what I'm thinking....

Re: Michael Jackson dead

I hope he rests in peace. I won't go into recent headlines but the man delighted millions of children many years ago including myself. I still like Rockin' Robin tweet-tweet-tweet. Also hats off to Farrah, she carried herself well for all these years unlike other star struck women and was a fighter to the end. I hope she rests in peace to.

Those allegations didnt sit very well with me and there is no doubt the legend was tarnished because as we know mud sticks and that was dark mud indeed. I have never been comfortable with him since then.

But I have to admit that he was acquitted of those so it is hard at this moment to feel anything but shock at the death of such a creative and talented performer. I well remember the phenomenom of Thriller and sure do miss that Michael Jackson.

He was due to go on tour. This really is shocking news.

Also Ed McMahon RIP, he always wore a smile even though he put up with that jerk for 30 years.

It wasn't the first time he was accused of molesting children.
There were reports of a 20 million dollar pay off in the first case.

Re: Michael Jackson dead

Michael Jackson - What do I know of him? Our home, because of the size of the attic (extra large) was used to make parties to raise funds for various high schools we in the neighborhood attended. My eldest sis and myself hosted hundreds of these. After coming of "age" and getting married we continued the tradition. I believe it was at one of our parties that I rolled a tape "reel" with almost all of Jackson's music up until then. We enjoyed listening dancing, swaying, tapping feet to his rhythm. Then when my two eldest children came along an they jumped into the Jackson band wagon. So for a very long time I have enjoyed his music to the max. The last time before now that I played his music was just Sunday night. I am trying to learn to walk again and doing a little of his dance was included in my recovery efforts. The guy just knew how to make a show. He was in my book a king of pop.

Then came those ugly news reports and allegations/accusations. What can I say. I got mad, I got angry. But you know what I cannot erase those many many years of fun that I had with his music.

May he rest in peace. I leave the final judgement to a greater being while I make sure I protect my little ones (grandchildren).

And if I may steal a piece here:

I cannot forget those many hours of gleaming over Farrah Fawcett. Boy did I love her. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE!

Ed McMahon - Again spent a lot of time enjoying his shows. May he also rest in peace.

Three big losses for the entertainment world. For me a fourth. At the start of this week a very great friend, very prominent at the parties refered to above, passed away. Belize's first urologists. A great doctor, friend of our family.

A sad week indeed.

Re: Michael Jackson dead

I didnt really care for his stuff but he was undeniably an incredible performer. A whole generation of kids grew up idolizing him. I hope he finds happiness in his next life.

There are varying reports this morning that he died from a prescription drug overdose. Some sources are claiming that as far as drugs go that MJ made Anna Nicole Smith seem mild. Supposedly he was given a demerol injection around 11:30am yesterday, 911 was called roughly 50 minutes later. His personal MD who administered the shot has since gone MIA.

Lots of drama in LA this morning.
