| *** Secret Waters *** the esoteric waters speak to the rocks of the creek to us it sounds of babel do the waters think we are but rabble we who pollute the pure as the waters rage for a cure a floating fallen autumn leaf even it cries out for relief the banks of the creek covered in trash, they didn't seek I listen to the roiling frothing waters maybe I can understand one of her daughters the rill flows gently by choice she's graceful, of a softer voice her secret waters do declare that she is weeping in prayer my spirit listens to her moans as her gentle waters move over her stones my eyes run a rivulet of salty tears they mix with her waters and her fears Just a wee interlude from the same-o, same-o.....
