nope. "I'm sorry" translates to "Es tut mir leid". Which means exactly the same. "that's unfortunate" would be more like "bedauerlich" which means like
"that's too bad for you" or such.

Thumbs up

I saw the Chronicles of Riddick last night. I thought it was pretty good and while not great sci fi, it was decent. Not a typical Sci Fi in my opinion and it is hard to explain for somereason. Vin wasn't to shabby in it I thought he makes a good anti-hero. Anyways I felt full price was justified by this movie. Can't wait to get it on DVD and listen to it on my surround sound system. It always seems they have the settings way to high in the theatres. Like if the bass doesn't rattle your brain we are not doing it right....

Yeah, Chronicles was worth a look I thought. Great sets, and watchable action. I thought it was somewhat like a futuristic "Conan the Conquerer", which was reinforced by the last frame as the movie ends. I can't remember if the original Conan movie ends like this, but many of the original Conan books do.

"The best things in life are destroying your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women." Or something like that.

"OUT OF THE ASHES" kinda disgusting war/concentrationcamp story.
I wouldn't recommend it really unless you don't know anything about KZ's
and DR.Mengele.

Just saw Shrek 2. It was good...very funny like the first. I loved the Starbuck's scene....they all run out of the Starbucks when the giant gingerbread man comes by and run across the street into where? Another Starbucks!! LOL

Secondhand Lions. Me and the kids watched it. Actually pretty good for a family movie. Nice departure from space operas or the earth being terrorized by wonky-eyed mutants from the undead.

Haven't heard of that. I'm always looking for movies that the family can watch together. Is it animated?

No...it's not animated but it is a great movie and great for the kids too. Just a nice wholesome fun story. Kind of like some of the old Disney movies back in the 60s and 70s.

I saw the 3rd HP movie a couple nights ago - I have to say it was the best one yet I really liked the ghost creatures and the hippogryphs

You mean like the never-ending "Herbie the Love Bug" movie series?

I just saw Underworld on DVD. I kind of liked it and wondering what city that was filmed in.

The Terminal (WARNING...CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS)
Not my typical movie that I would see but I was layed off yesterday and bored so I went today. Not a bad movie but the fountain really ticked me off, I mean why not have it work? Probably a subtle meaning that went over my head. I didn't like the ending that much, ie between Hanks and Catherine. Overall I would recommend it.
