| Saw Army of Darkness last night. This is the second time I've seen it - the first time I couldn't get into it and didn't finish it. This time I watched it all the way through. I guess I couldn't get used to the bizarre comedy/horror format. I'm one of those conventional people who think a comedy should be a comedy or a horror should be a horror and never the twain shall meet. I also didn't like Ash's reaction to the medieval people, and the constant "action hero" quips were annoying. And they never explained why Ash had a chainsaw instead of a right hand. But I gave it a chance and it was pretty entertaining if I took it at face value - kind of a horror spoof/satire. Campy. I'm definintely not one of the followers of this cult movie, but it was worth a watch. |

| I plan to go to the movies in a bit. Either Assualt on Precinct 13 or In Good Company or Elektra. Elektra is likely the girlfriend's pick, but I don't like Jennifer Garner. |

| Elektra...rate it a C I didn't think much of the acting and there are a few spots in the film where details or lack of ruined some of the movie for me. Even if you are an all out action fan which I fit in, there isn't much in the movie to make it to a higher grade.

Colin Farell was very good in this role, IMO.Ended up seeing In Good Company. I actually liked it. Personally, I think Dennis Quaid is a great actor (loved Frequency). Very enjoyable movie for what it was. | |

| In Good Company. Saw it with the girl, but it was a pretty good movie and quite funny regardless of being a borderline chick flick.

| Just watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on DVD. It was kind of a chick flick, but it did have an interesting story line. |

| saw a few days ago, excalibre bought it for about £1 second hand, remember the movie being a lot better, the movie has aged terribly. The acting was pretty bad and I remember the birds being fitter. |
