I won't argue that.....it's one of her worst roles....most "other" roles have been much better.

I watched SAW a few months ago...pretty good horror movie considering how lame horror movies have become over the years...has some real disturbing scenes and the ending was very very clever...I started smiling at the end after realizing how clever it was and how they give you all the clues needed to figure it out

*and yes I "downloaded" it as well...I just finished downloading Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Alien vs Predator as well

Well I saw Whitenoise tonight and I liked it. I don't know what people have been saying about this movie, but I thought it was a good movie the whole way through. The ending I thought wasn't to big of a surprise, but it did bring closure unlike most movies it seems. I felt it was worth my $8.50

I watched Troy and Collateral the other night. I rate their viewing enjoyment about the same - fun to watch. Neither were particularly great movies, but the battle/fight scenes in Troy were very good. They were both worth the rental.

The Village.

I didn't have the time to catch it when it ran in the theatres, so I watched it for the first time yesterday. I guess it was what I expected, M. Night Shyamalan-style all the way.

Watched Napolean Dyanamit last night. All I can say is...just watch the commercials and you will see the pseudo funny parts. There was technically nothing funny about this movie what so ever. I had heard people at work raving about it, so I decided to check it out. The best I can tell about the movie is that the people who love it are the ones who can relate to events that happen in the movie. It had zero redeeming qualities in my eyes. Sort of like the Trainspotting of 2004.

I wouldn't have called it "thaaat bad", but it WAS certainly a bit overrated.

I was stuck on 24hour duty and someone at work rented it and was watching it on the big screen in the crews lounge. I was basically a captive audience since I couldn't leave the hangar deck so I watched the whole thing. I thought it was kind of funny, but mostly a train wreck. I'm sure it is a very accurate mid west documentary, but I would never rent it myself.

The funniest part of this movie is when you are at work and people start quoting the movie. I was doing de-ice checks and my buddy says "Dude! Give me your tots..."

AVP. That was really good! I was surprised, as I thought it would be really stupid. Lot's of action and the special effects were fabulous!

I finally got around to watching Troy. I really enjoyed it, though there were a few people from Braveheart in it, and it made me think of that. On the whole though, I just love Epic stories and movies like that. The one thing that is bugging me though is, who was the lady with Brad Pitt in the movie? I thought her character name was Mercedes, but I can not find that name in the credits and she looks really familiar. I checked us.imdb.com and nothing to be found. Her roll was a big enough one that she should have gotten a credit.

"Pi" was pretty good. It's about a mathetician who discovers the name of God, a 216 digital number that rules all of the universe. It was all in black & white.
