I saw this last week also. Great action movie. The acting was a little bad at times. But I really enjoyed the movie and the funny lines came at just the right time.

Saw Deuce Bigalow 2 yesterday. Two thumbs down. The whole thing was very unpleasant to watch. First one was much better.

there were some funny moments but overall the movie was pretty bad...luckily I attended an advanced screening of the movie so I didn't have to pay any money to see it

At the prices of movies in NYC, you would have to make sure they are good as not to waste that much cash.

When we went to a movie at Christmas there, it was like $12.00 a ticket. Nice theater though.

Ouch, that is pricey. I went Friday night and it cost me 9.50 per ticket. I'm on the south side of Chicago.

As a gift, I got The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou DVD.

The movie's supposed to be a comedy, but I guess I just didn't get it.

It seemed mildly campy and ironical to me, but not really funny. Everything seemed purposefully fake in the movie, for a reason I can't understand, and dense quotes like "in twelve years, the baby will be eleven and a half" just didn't do it for me.

I had heard good comments about this movie and it has a high rating on the IMDB, but I'm glad I didn't pay money to see it.

I found it not very funny, hard to understand and fairly boring.

$10.75/adult

but as spookyload stated, the theatres here are mostly state of the art with stadium seating, DLP digital projection, huge screens, digital sound etc etc.

when I went to see Batman Begins in IMAX it cost $15.00

I heard that this movie had been nominated for awards. I didn't get it either. 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. As a result I am now skeptical of Murray's next movie too.

start rant here:

its called being original, using a good soundtrack, and using a producer and director that actually cares about a quality movie. You either get Wes Andersons movies or you don't. to me they are hilarious, well written and have a great story with great characters. It is quite a relief from all the blow em up action crap and chick flicks out to make a dollar.

ok I'm done, thanks. lol
