| Saw Deuce Bigalow 2 yesterday. Two thumbs down. The whole thing was very unpleasant to watch. First one was much better.

there were some funny moments but overall the movie was pretty bad...luckily I attended an advanced screening of the movie so I didn't have to pay any money to see it

| As a gift, I got The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou DVD. The movie's supposed to be a comedy, but I guess I just didn't get it. It seemed mildly campy and ironical to me, but not really funny. Everything seemed purposefully fake in the movie, for a reason I can't understand, and dense quotes like "in twelve years, the baby will be eleven and a half" just didn't do it for me. I had heard good comments about this movie and it has a high rating on the IMDB, but I'm glad I didn't pay money to see it. I found it not very funny, hard to understand and fairly boring. |

but as spookyload stated, the theatres here are mostly state of the art with stadium seating, DLP digital projection, huge screens, digital sound etc etc. when I went to see Batman Begins in IMAX it cost $15.00

| start rant here: its called being original, using a good soundtrack, and using a producer and director that actually cares about a quality movie. You either get Wes Andersons movies or you don't. to me they are hilarious, well written and have a great story with great characters. It is quite a relief from all the blow em up action crap and chick flicks out to make a dollar. ok I'm done, thanks. lolQuote:
